Vervet Dance in the classroom/studio

Classes open to the public that Vervet Artistic Director Loren Groenendaal offers:

Dance for Children

This class combines creative movement with story time for a fun learning experience that builds language acquisition, developmental movement, conceptual understanding, personal expression, social skills, and creative problem solving. We will use our bodies with assistance from our expnading imaginations to move through stories to reinforce verbal literacy throught the young child's strong kinesthetic intelligence.

For ages 1-5, parent or guardian must stay to supervise, younger and older siblings are welcome

at The University City Arts League, 4226 Spruce St. PHILADELPHIA, PA 19104
For ages 2-5, parent or guardian does not need to stay in the building, but twice each 7 week session, there will be an optional observation day

$5-10 sliding scale, all ages and experience levels welcome
